I took my christmas tree down yesterday. I know that most everyone else in the world that put up a tree most likely has already taken it down by Jan. 6 or so...but I hate to take it down. You know the feeling you get when the walls are bare, the presents are open and being used or used up, and the last of the hard tack candy is stuck to the corner of the candy dish.
The snow is falling, but christmas is over. The snow is falling, but the eggnog is gone. The snow is falling, but I find myself wishing the magic of Christmas could stay with me all year.
